It’s the greatest honour for me as the servant of the Lord to serve Him and see the great rewards we do when souls come out in their numbers to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. To see people experience the new birth work of the cross fulfils my heart and strengthens my passion to travel and preach this glorious gospel of our Lord. It’s a privilege and an honour but what’s awesome about all of this is that you, my friend, can share in the rewards and anointing that God has placed upon this dynamic moving international ministry. In 1 Corinthians 9: 13, we read, “Because of the service (giving) by which you have proved yourselves, others (souls) will praise God for obedience that accompanies your (the giver) confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else”.

What’s Paul saying?? He’s in fact saying that giving as part of our confession of the gospel that one cannot stand for Jesus without standing for giving to the preaching of the gospel. Paul thanks the church of Corinthians and Philippians for coming to his aide and financing his missions because without money the mission will procrastinate.

In return, Paul encourages the Philippian church with this very well-known verse in Philippians 4: 18, 19, “I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. A my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus”.

Giving to the gospel is “fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God”, and what’s the reward? God will meet all our needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
